Position Title: Pharmacist – Riyadh

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing and supplying medicines to patients, as well as providing advice on the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and services, and up-to-date knowledge of medical regulations. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescribed medications, including providing information on proper use, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
• Compound medications as needed according to established procedures.
• Monitor patients’ drug therapies by reviewing prescriptions; conferring with doctors; verifying dosage compatibility and side effects; monitoring drug levels in the blood stream; adjusting dosages when necessary.
• Provide advice on the selection of over-the-counter medications for customers’ specific needs.
• Provide information about generic versus brand name drugs, therapeutic substitutions, therapeutic equivalents, allergies, contraindications, interactions between drugs, side effects of medications, etc.
• Ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Comply with all applicable rules and regulations set forth by local law or governing bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field required.
• Valid license/certification from local pharmacy board required (for foreign applicants).
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) required.

Salary: 1700 per month
