Job Title: Executive Chef
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Salary: 1000 SAR/month
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Executive Chef who can oversee all aspects of our hotel’s kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality food production environment and will be instrumental in developing new recipes, menus, and cost-effective dishes. They should be able to multitask and maintain the highest standards of quality even when under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in the kitchen at all times
• Design menus according to customer preferences, special dietary requirements and budgetary considerations
• Develop new recipes to improve the existing menu options and create more appealing dishes for customers
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and other supplies used in the kitchen to ensure that they are stocked up
• Establish efficient systems to streamline ordering process, minimize food waste and optimize costs
• Monitor performance of staff members on an ongoing basis and provide guidance where necessary
• Maintain records of all transactions within the kitchen such as ingredient purchases, equipment maintenance, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred; or equivalent experience required
• Proven work experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting for at least 5 years
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation techniques, dietary needs, nutrition principles and menu development
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; fluency in multiple languages is a plus
