Job Duties:
- Conducting eye examinations, including prescribing corrective lenses as needed
- Diagnosing vision problems such as glaucoma or cataracts
- Explaining diagnoses to patients and providing guidance on how to improve their vision health
- Educating patients on the importance of preventative care and safety when using corrective lenses

Required Qualifications:
- A degree in optometry or a related field from an accredited university or college
- Knowledge of vision tests, optical instruments, and other equipment used by optometrists
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
