Surveyor - Dibba-El-Fujairah

We are looking for a qualified Surveyor to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and recording the shape, contour, dimensions and other physical characteristics of land parcels, as well as the locations of buildings and other features in order to create detailed maps, drawings and plans. This position offers a salary of 1600 AED per month.

Requirements for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of secondary school education with courses in mathematics, geology or survey technology. A background in engineering or cartography is preferred but not essential. We are willing to consider foreign candidates who can demonstrate their ability to work in the region with valid permits. No experience is necessary as on-site training will be provided.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duty of the Surveyor is to measure land parcels and structures using specialised tools such as levels, tachometers, GPS receivers and radar guns. They will also need to collect data from aerial photographs or satellite imagery, calculate distances and angles between points on the Earth’s surface using trigonometry, analyse survey reports for accuracy and completeness, draw up detailed maps using computer software programs such as Autocad or GIS systems, provide verbal or written descriptions of land parcels for legal documents such as deeds or leases and participate in construction projects by providing data about terrain features that could affect building designs.
