The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide advice on drug therapy, health promotion and disease prevention. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of medical terminology, as well as knowledge of medical coding systems. They should also have knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations, as well as experience in dispensing medications. A good command of the English language is essential for this role.

The responsibilities include filling prescriptions, providing advice on medication dosage and interactions, answering customer questions, managing inventory of medications, ordering new supplies when needed, keeping records up-to-date, preparing reports and maintaining confidentiality within the pharmacy. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to work independently or with minimal supervision and collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
