Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in welding and metal fabrication. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

We are looking for a Welder with the following qualifications and experience:
• Demonstrated knowledge of welding techniques and processes such as MIG/TIG welding, oxyacetylene burning, arc welding, soldering and brazing.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine appropriate welding process.
• Knowledge of safety precautions related to working with metals and related materials.
• Ability to inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
• Must be able to pass a weld test if required by the employer.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Set up, adjust and operate various types of welding equipment such as MIG/TIG welders, oxyacetylene torches or plasma cutters for fabricating or repairing metal parts according to layouts, blueprints or work orders.
• Inspect welds using a variety of methods including visual inspection and x-ray inspections when necessary.
• Cut metal pieces using torches or other cutting equipment as directed by supervisor or instructions from blueprints or drawings.
