Job Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencils or scribes;
- Cut and shape parts for making furniture or other wooden products;
- Assemble cut and shaped parts into components for furniture production;
- Install door frames, window frames and interior trim;
- Construct built-in kitchen cabinets by hand or with the help of machines;
- Finish carpentry items with nails, screws or glue;
- Sand down rough spots on finished products;
- Repair furniture parts such as legs or tabletops;
- Inspect completed works to ensure quality standards are met.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification;
- At least two years of previous experience in a carpentry setting ; - Excellent knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques ; - Ability to read blueprints and drawings ; - Ability to lift heavy objects ; - Good eye for detail ; - Good communication skills ; - Immigrant status is accepted.
