Job Responsibilities
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Load and unload cargo
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance
• Document delivery information including notes on items delivered or any issues encountered
• Follow all applicable traffic laws
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, trip sheets, required paperwork and fuel/oil inventories
• Comply with all applicable rules regarding the safe operation of the vehicle
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with no violations or pending actions against it
• Clean driving record (no accidents or DUIs) • Ability to pass a drug test
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive commercial vehicles • At least two years of experience driving trucks
