Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens services and pre- and post-operative care. We offer a competitive salary of 1100 per month and are willing to consider immigrants for the position.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide full scope optometry services including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings and pre- and post-operative care
• Evaluate patients’ vision, diagnose vision conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as spectacles or contact lenses in accordance with the patient's condition
• Perform visual field testing to detect any abnormalities in patients’ peripheral vision
• Educate patients about vision health, provide advice on eyeglass frames or contact lens selection, and recommend lifestyle changes to improve vision health
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments provided
• Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized before use on each patient
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in optometry technology
• Participate in outreach activities such as school visits to educate children about good eye care practices

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification from an accredited university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Optometrist in a professional setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ophthalmic instrumentation is required
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues in English is essential
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
