Welder Vacancy at Al-Kuwait

Al-Kuwait is looking for an experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in the oil and gas industry. The salary for this position is 1500. We are willing to consider a foreigner for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Operate welding machines, torches, and other equipment to weld various materials together safely and accurately
• Read blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine appropriate welding process
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness
• Determine appropriate welding techniques, alloy used, heat level and other requirements based on material specifications
• Repair or fabricate parts as needed
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training/certification is an asset
• At least three years' experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in the oil & gas industry
• Proficient in one or more types of welding (MIG, TIG, ARC)
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately
• Ability to use basic tools such as grinder and drill press • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis • Attention to detail; ability to focus on precision work • Excellent communication skills • Safety conscious attitude
