Cashier - El-Fujairah

We are seeking a Cashier to join our team in El-Fujairah. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, excellent cash handling skills and the ability to work independently. We are willing to consider immigrants for this position. The salary for this position is 1600 AED per month.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy of funds
• Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures or policies
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Follow all applicable laws regarding sales tax collection.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a retail setting preferred but not required
• Ability to work effectively with multiple types of currency and payments (cash, debit/credit cards etc.)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while following guidelines provided by management
• Excellent customer service skills as well as problem solving capabilities.
