Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abu-Dhabi
Salary: 1700 AED/month

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal applicant should be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, including invoicing and reconciliation.
• Analyze financial data to provide insightful reports for decision making.
• Perform regular audits to maintain accuracy of accounting data.
• Identify areas for cost improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor internal control processes to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities as needed.
• Handle any other tasks related to accounting as assigned by the manager or director.

Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA certification is preferred but not required
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel & Word) and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage 50 is essential
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
