Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the construction of civil engineering projects, as well as providing technical support and guidance to project staff.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, techniques, and practices. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze designs and drawings to determine the most efficient construction methods.

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and reports.

• Supervise the work of contractors and ensure that deadlines are met according to safety regulations.

• Manage onsite construction activities with an emphasis on safety and quality control.

• Monitor progress by inspecting projects and gathering data from site visits.

• Ensure that all civil engineering projects adhere to the relevant codes of practice, local laws, and regulations.

• Provide technical advice on project progress or potential issues that need addressing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., RICS)
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Fluent English language proficiency (additional language proficiency is an asset)
