Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and assessing mechanical systems within the city. You will be expected to research and develop new products that meet the standards of safety and quality while being cost-effective. You will also be involved in performing analysis on existing products and making improvements where needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your main duties as a Mechanical Engineer in Al-Kuwait include, but are not limited to: designing sound mechanical systems; researching materials, components and processes that can improve existing systems; performing tests for quality assurance; overseeing the installation of mechanical systems; providing technical advice and support; monitoring performance of machinery to ensure efficiency; conducting cost analysis for mechanical components; creating detailed plans for prototypes or designs; evaluating product performance after implementation and making necessary modifications or improvements; developing maintenance procedures for machinery.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field with at least 3 years of working experience in the same field. Knowledge of CAD software is also highly desirable. You should have excellent problem solving skills with an eye for detail. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively is essential as you may need to coordinate with other departments or external organizations from time to time. You should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts in simple terms. Immigrant status is accepted but knowledge of local laws and regulations is advantageous. This position offers a salary of 1200 KWD per month depending on qualifications and experience.
