Accountant Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and creating budgets. The position is open to both local and foreign applicants.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel
• Monitor compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Expertise in MS Office applications (MS Excel in particular)
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Salary: 1300 KD per month.
