Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical products that meet customer needs with regard to quality, cost, performance, reliability, manufacturability and safety. The engineer will work closely with other engineering departments as well as with production staff to ensure that product specifications are met. Specific duties include design specifications development; product testing; product design improvements; working closely with the manufacturing team; providing technical guidance; designing prototypes; providing technical support throughout the production process; preparing bills of materials; developing project timelines; ensuring compliance with safety regulations; troubleshooting mechanical problems; researching new technologies; performing cost analysis; creating reports on research findings.
