As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving large trucks and performing tasks such as loading and unloading cargo, inspecting and maintaining vehicles and making sure the cargo is in good condition. You must possess a valid license, good driving record and the ability to drive long distances without getting tired.

To be successful as a Truck Driver, you should have excellent knowledge of the roads and highways in the area, be able to read maps accurately, have good problem-solving skills, be able to follow instructions from dispatchers and supervisors, have strong communication skills and be physically fit. You should also possess basic math skills for calculating weight limits of cargo.
