Truck Driver - Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods on time and safely while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. We offer a salary of 1600 AED per month and are ready to consider immigrants for this role.

Job Description:

The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely driving heavy trucks to transport goods from one place to another. This position requires excellent knowledge of the roads in the area, strict adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate assigned truck as directed by supervisors
- Inspect assigned truck before each trip
- Load cargo onto trucks in accordance with company guidelines
- Unload cargo from trucks at designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws
- Maintain accurate records of trips, such as miles driven, cargo delivered, fuel used, etc.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo
- Communicate regularly with dispatchers or other personnel on route changes, delivery instructions, or other information

Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean record (no points)
- Must have at least 1 year of experience driving a truck or other commercial vehicle
- Knowledge of area roads is a plus
