Job Responsibilities:
• Reading blueprints or instructions to determine the specific welding requirements
• Setting up equipment and welding tools according to specifications (e.g., selecting the type of welding equipment, adjusting it according to the metal thickness)
• Using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fill gaps between metal parts
• Inspecting welds and ensuring they meet standards and requirements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred but not required
• Minimal work experience (1 year or less) with MIG and TIG welding is preferred but not required
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and other technical data accurately
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
