Job Description:
As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators to dig trenches, foundations, basements, or other structures. You will be expected to ensure the safe operation of the machinery at all times. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting the excavation area before work begins, monitoring controls to ensure proper functioning of the machinery during activity, performing maintenance on equipment as needed and reporting any malfunctions or damages. You must also follow safety protocols at all times as well as adhere to all government regulations.
