Job Title: Librarian
Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain
Salary: 1300 AED/month

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing library resources, organizing collections, and providing reference services to patrons.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain library resources including books, periodicals, audio-visual materials and digital media;
• Create library displays and promote library resources to patrons;
• Provide reference services for patrons seeking information;
• Catalog materials according to established procedures;
• Process new books and other materials according to established procedures;
• Set up computer databases and other systems to store information;
• Train staff members on library policies and procedures;
• Monitor the use of the library by patrons.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or related field required;
• Previous experience working as a librarian preferred;
• Knowledge of current library technologies;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
