Mason – Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for a Mason to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various masonry tasks such as bricklaying, block laying and tile setting.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision and have a good eye for detail. Previous experience in masonry is preferred but we are willing to consider a foreigner with no experience. The salary offered is 1500 AED per month.

The duties of the position include:
- Reading blueprints and following instructions from supervisors
- Mixing mortar and grout with cement, sand and water according to specifications
- Laying bricks, blocks, tiles or stone in straight lines according to the plan
- Cutting bricks, blocks or tiles using electric saws or hand tools
- Inspecting walls for plumbness and levelness
- Cleaning up the work area after completion of each job
