Chef Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team at Al-Kuwait restaurant in Kuwait City. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of culinary activities to ensure the highest standards of quality and service. This is a full-time position offering a salary of 900 KD per month. Candidates from outside of Kuwait are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
• Designing menus and food items in line with the restaurant’s philosophy
• Purchasing ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring quality control
• Cooking delicious meals with accuracy and speed
• Training and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation and cooking techniques
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met in the kitchen
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Managing budgets, ordering equipment, and overseeing food delivery schedules

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook with knowledge of different cuisines
• Understanding of nutrition principles in cooking
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Food hygiene certificate is an asset
