Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha. This position requires a skilled individual who has a good understanding of carpentry and is able to handle the physical demands of the job. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and repairing furniture, fixtures, and other wooden structures.

Job Duties:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Construct frameworks including walls, floor joists, and doorframes using materials such as wood, steel, fiberglass or drywall.
• Assemble furniture such as tables, chairs, beds and bookcases with nails or screws and dowels by hand or with a power drill.
• Fabricate parts such as shelves or bases to custom fit a particular installation.
• Install trim items such as moldings or edgings on furniture pieces or fixtures.
• Finish surfaces of woodwork with sealers or varnishes using brushes or spray guns.
• Operate power tools such as saws, sanders and drills when required for construction projects.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year experience working as a carpenter is necessary for this role.
• Ability to follow instructions from blueprints accurately is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures when operating tools and equipment is essential for this role.

Salary: The salary offered for this role is 1700 QAR per month plus benefits commensurate with experience level
