Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Analyze financial information and reports
• Prepare periodic reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, trial balances and bank reconciliations
• Prepare invoices and ensure that payments are made on time
• Ensure that all account documents comply with legal requirements
• Monitor expenditures against budget targets
• Prepare tax returns and provide advice on tax matters
• Provide advice on business performance improvement initiatives
• Identify areas where cost savings can be made

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Working knowledge of computerized accounting software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Dynamics GP • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Salary: 1600 per month
