Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Al Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical advice and services to customers. You will also ensure that all medication is dispensed accurately and in compliance with prescribed standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide professional advice to customers on the selection of over-the-counter medications.
• Monitor customer health profiles for drug interactions and potential allergies.
• Ensure accuracy of medication labels, dosages, expiry dates, etc.
• Receive orders from wholesalers/suppliers and check inventory levels regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of patient medications, prescriptions and dispensing activities.
• Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Liaise with doctors, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or relevant field; Master’s degree is preferred but not required
• Licensed pharmacist (or eligible) with the State Board of Pharmacy; foreign applicants should provide foreign license verification prior to employment
• Minimum two years of experience working as a pharmacist preferably within a hospital setting or retail pharmacy environment; recent graduates may be considered depending on their experience
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical terminology, drugs’ characteristics and effects
• Proficiency using computers; knowledge of specialized software (eRx/ePharmacy) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
