Welder vacancy in Jeddah Saudi Arabia


We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and joining metal components together to create structures.

The position requires excellent attention to detail, a proven track record of successful welding jobs, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team. A valid welding certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of material

Requirements:
• Proven experience as welder (2+ years)
• Expertise in using appropriate welders (TIG, MMA etc.) according to the given task
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares etc.)
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time in noisy environment
• Valid welding certification is mandatory

Salary: 1400 SAR per month
