Job Summary

We are looking for a professional Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for performing land surveying tasks, such as measuring and mapping boundaries for both private and public uses. You will also be responsible for implementing survey plans and creating reports on your findings.

Responsibilities

• Measure properties to determine boundary lines.
• Prepare sketches and diagrams of surveyed land.
• Utilize survey equipment, including total stations and GPS devices.
• Record data from surveys on field notes or other media.
• Analyze data collected from survey projects.
• Create documents for both legal and engineering purposes based on surveys conducted.
• Maintain accuracy of all surveying instruments used in the field.
• Work with other departments to ensure accuracy of all survey data collected.
• Keep up with changing laws related to property boundaries and surveying codes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or a related field such as Geomatics or Civil Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in land surveying and mapping
• Proficient knowledge of various surveying software systems (AutoCAD, GIS, etc.)
• Excellent skills in mathematics and problem-solving
• Good understanding of construction principles
