Optometrist job in Abu-Dhabi UAE


We are currently looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our expanding team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including examination, diagnosis and treatment of any visual problems.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. They should also possess a strong attention to detail, and be able to work independently as well as work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
• Examine eyes using various diagnostic instruments
• Diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Fit eyeglasses or contact lenses that match the patient's prescription
• Monitor the progress of patients' vision and check for any further vision problems
• Provide counseling on lifestyle changes or vision care products that can help with any vision problems
• Educate patients on how to properly use and care for their corrective lenses
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in optometry or related field
• Licensed optometrist (OD) in the UAE or willing to obtain one
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Salary: 1600 AED per month. We are ready to consider an immigrant.
