The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and have a good understanding of the different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. You must also be able to maintain excellent customer service standards at all times. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.

You will be responsible for greeting customers when they enter the bar, taking their orders, preparing drinks according to recipes and serving them in an efficient manner. As part of your duties you will also need to help create cocktail menus and offer wine suggestions when requested by customers. You should also ensure that all areas of the bar area are kept clean at all times and that any spillages are dealt with quickly. Further duties include handling cash transactions accurately, restocking fridges with beer and other drinks as required, ensuring stock levels are maintained throughout the shift, and helping out other team members when needed.
