Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist for our Abu-Dhabi based pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customers with accurate advice on medication and healthcare products, as well as offering support and guidance to our team of pharmacy assistants. The salary is 1700, and we are open to considering a foreigner for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Advising customers on the selection of non-prescription medicines and other healthcare products in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Recording details of customers’ purchases accurately into the company’s computer system
• Providing information on side effects, appropriate dosage, drug interactions and contraindications
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in the pharmaceutical industry
• Processing prescriptions accurately
• Maintaining the security of all controlled drugs
• Ensuring that all records are kept up to date in accordance with legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification from an accredited college or institution • Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, standards, policies and procedures • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment • Strong customer service skills • Good communication skills
