As a Welder, your primary responsibility will be using welding techniques to join metal components together. This involves interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment and joining metal parts using the appropriate techniques. You will also be responsible for ensuring the welds meet quality standards before completing the job. Additionally, you may be required to perform maintenance on welding equipment and provide guidance to junior welders when needed.

The ideal candidate for this position must have several years of experience in welding and be familiar with different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). You should have excellent manual dexterity, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additional qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, along with certification from an accredited welder program or apprenticeship program. Certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) is preferred but not required.

We are offering a salary of 1500 for this position with potential for advancement within our organization.
