Job Description: Optometrist – Haur-Fakkan

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing eye care services to our patients, including diagnosing vision changes and prescribing corrective lenses. We are willing to consider a foreigner for this position.

Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience as an Optometrist
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both staff and patients
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in using optical equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams, including testing for visual acuity, refraction, color vision, depth perception, field of vision, and ocular motility
• Prescribe corrective lenses as needed
• Diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts
• Test patients for contact lens fitting
• Educate patients on eye health topics such as proper contact lens care or the importance of yearly eye exams
• Ensure patient safety by following all safety protocols while performing examinations

Job Description:
The Optometrist is responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients. This includes evaluating visual acuity; prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses; diagnosing diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts; performing tests such as retinal imaging; providing patient education on topics such as proper contact lens care; and ensuring patient safety throughout the examination process. The successful candidate must have 3+ years of optometry experience along with excellent interpersonal skills, diagnostic/analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and proficiency in using optical equipment. Salary is 1500 AED per month.
