Job Description:
• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and standards set by the head chef
• Monitor food production procedures in order to ensure high quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of preparation and cooking processes
• Maintain accurate records of food costs, labor costs, menu items, and other related information as required for budgeting purposes or other related activities
• Directly supervise kitchen staff including hiring and training new staff members. Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as Executive Chef or similar position in the restaurant industry
• Working knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operations
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
