PASTRY CHEF VACANCY – RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA
We are looking for an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making delicious pastries and desserts in a timely manner. The successful candidate must be willing to work hard in order to produce high-quality results.

Demands for the Candidate:
• Must be available to work full time, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have prior experience in pastry making or similar roles.
• Must have valid working papers if not a native Saudi citizen.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with other employees.
• Must be able to perform tasks quickly and accurately with limited supervision.
• Must be willing to take direction from executive chefs and follow recipes precisely.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating unique pastries, cakes, pies, cookies, etc., from scratch or from a recipe.
• Utilize fresh ingredients while adhering to health standards while preparing pastries/desserts.
• Decorate cakes/pastries with creative designs according to customer requests or established guidelines.
• Ensure all desserts meet high standards of quality before being served to customers by taste-testing each treat before it is served or packaged for sale.
• Prepare food ingredients appropriately according to recipes and cooking instructions provided by the executive chef/sous chef(s).
Qualifications & Skills:
• Culinary degree/diploma from an accredited institution is preferred but not required with sufficient experience.
• Proven ability to follow recipes accurately as well as create unique dishes is required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential for success in this role.
• Knowledge of all relevant food safety procedures is mandatory for this role; must have valid food handling certifications (if applicable).

• Excellent communication skills are necessary in order to interact effectively with other staff members; basic English proficiency is preferred but not required if native language proficiency exists at a proficient level.
