Job Responsibilities:
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner. The individual must adhere to the highest standards of patient care while performing venipuncture, heelsticks, capillary collection, and other laboratory procedures. This individual must also ensure that all specimens are accurately labeled and sent off to the laboratory for testing. Additionally, this role will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in phlebotomy
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely and accurately
• Ability to work with difficult patients in a professional manner
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification from an accredited phlebotomy program is preferred
