Position: Instrument Technician
Location: Abu-Dhabi, UAE
Salary: 1400 AED

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, calibrating, testing, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of electrical and electronic measuring instruments.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), signal processing equipment, digital displays and other instruments used in production operations. They should also be familiar with the relevant safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Install, test and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic measuring instruments such as thermometers, pressure transducers, flow meters etc.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on instrumentation systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instrumentation systems.
• Perform calibration tests on instrumentation systems to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare reports on findings and recommendations for corrective action.
• Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials or high voltage equipment.
• Provide technical support to other departments as required.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic systems
• Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is essential
