Job Title: Land Surveyor

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 1800 QAR

We are looking for a qualified Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate should have the ability to accurately measure land for the purpose of creating maps and boundaries. This position requires the surveyor to work under tight deadlines and be able to work with a variety of data types. As this is an immigrant position, we are willing to consider applications from abroad.

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting surveys and gathering data from various sources such as aerial photographs, land surveys, old maps etc.
- Interpreting data and creating detailed reports for use in mapping projects
- Using surveying technology such as GPS systems, Total Station equipment and other tools to accurately measure land features
- Working with clients to ensure that their project goals are met effectively and efficiently
- Working with other professionals such as engineers, cartographers and geologists to produce accurate maps or boundary lines.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times while conducting fieldwork or using dangerous equipment

The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills and have a good eye for detail. They should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) software is also required in order to produce accurate maps or boundary lines. Candidates must be comfortable working both independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics or related field
- A minimum of two years’ experience with surveying techniques
- Ability to interpret complex data sets accurately - Knowledge of GIS software - Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
