Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from one location to another in a safe and timely manner. You will be required to adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations and safety standards while operating the truck.

Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating the truck safely and efficiently, loading and unloading cargo, monitoring vehicle condition and performance, performing pre-trip inspection of the vehicle and its associated equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or damage to the vehicle or cargo, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations regarding transportation of goods, keeping accurate records of trips (mileage logs), maintaining communication with dispatch while on route and providing customer service to clients when needed.

Requirements
The successful candidate must possess a valid commercial driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience in a similar role. The ability to lift heavy loads is essential as some cargo may weigh up to 25 kgs. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of local roads, highways and other traffic regulations specific to Doha as well as a good understanding of loading/unloading procedures. All applicants must also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and customer service skills as well as excellent communication abilities in order to succeed in this role.
