Responsibilities:
- Operate truck safely and efficiently, ensuring that all laws regarding the transport of goods are followed.
- Load/ unload cargo in a safe manner, using proper handling techniques.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Plan routes for efficient delivery of cargo within specified timeframes.
- Keep accurate records of delivery logs, manifests or other trip information.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering goods on time in good condition.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers encountered during deliveries.
