Psychiatrist vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are looking for an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha.

As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental health disorders. You will work with patients of all ages to assess mental health conditions, develop treatment plans and provide therapeutic care. We are looking for a professional with excellent communication skills who is able to create a supportive environment for patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and psychological evaluations of patients.
- Diagnose mental health conditions through interviews, psychological tests and other methods.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients and provide ongoing monitoring of progress.
- Provide psychotherapy, counselling and support services to individuals or groups.
- Educate patients about mental health disorders and their treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor the effectiveness of treatments and modify them as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychiatry or another medical field with relevant experience.
- Licensed to practice psychiatry in Qatar or eligible to obtain licensure in Qatar.
- Excellent verbal communication skills as well as the ability to build rapport with patients quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of various psychotherapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
