Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for all aspects of land surveying from research to data analysis. This includes researching legal documents such as deeds, plat maps, and county records, collecting data via field surveys, locating boundary markers or lines by using GPS systems or other methods, analyzing data collected from field surveys, creating maps and drawings of surveyed areas accurately showing elevations, contours, roads and other features as needed. They will also need to maintain accurate records of their work and present their findings orally or in writing when needed.
