Cashier – Abu Dhabi
We are currently looking for a friendly and organized Cashier to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is perfect for an immigrant with minimal work experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments, issuing receipts, and providing general customer service. To be successful, you should have excellent communication skills and be familiar with cash registers and other payment processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers entering the store
• Receive payment from customers in the form of cash, credit cards, checks, or other forms of payment
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to shoppers
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning of each shift to ensure that amounts are correct
• Answer customers’ questions about merchandise or policies
• Record all transactions accurately into the point-of-sale system
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of checkout area
• Bag items carefully for customers
Skills & Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Minimum of 1 year related experience preferred but not required
• Ability to handle high stress situations with poise
• Must possess strong math skills and accurate cash handling abilities
• Must have excellent organizational skills
Salary: 1100 AED per month
