Job Summary

Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
• Sterilize dental instruments before use
• Greet patients upon arrival at the practice
• Take patient vitals such as blood pressure or temperature
• Answer patient questions about treatments or procedures
• Take dental x-rays as needed
• Prepare materials for impressions or restorations
• Assist with office duties such as filing or scheduling appointments
Qualifications

• At least minimal work experience in the dental field required
• Knowledge of basic dental terminology preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
