Job Description:
We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively with other staff members.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phones, take messages, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
• Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents
• Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings as requested
• Assist with various administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, photocopying/scanning, mailing, etc.
• Coordinate office supplies inventory and ordering/purchasing new supplies when necessary
• Monitor office equipment ensuring it is operating correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent degree required; relevant post-secondary education is an asset
• Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Salary: 1400 AED per month
