Optometrist Position in El-Fujairah

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in El-Fujairah. Requirements:
• Minimum two years of experience as an optometrist or ophthalmologist
• Eligible to practice in the UAE
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of optometry and ophthalmology practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Description:
• Examine eyes using various tests and diagnostic equipment
• Determine the appropriate eyeglasses or contact lenses needed by the patient
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contacts according to the patient’s prescription
• Educate patients on proper use, care, and safety of lenses and frames

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive eye care services including diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases
• Perform thorough vision examinations on all ages from infants to seniors
• Diagnose vision problems in children, adults, and seniors
• Evaluate patients’ medical histories for any existing conditions that may affect vision

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in optometry from an accredited college or university • Licensed with the UAE Health Authority (HAAD) as an Optometrist • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
