Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE
Salary: 1700 AED/month

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience in woodworking and knowledge of tools and techniques. We are also open to considering foreign applicants.

Responsibilities:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk and marking gauge.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, screws or other fasteners using hand tools and power tools.
• Install items such as windows, doors, stairs, cabinetry, trim or hardware using hand or power tools.
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors & door frames using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Install fixtures such as windows & door frames into framework.
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance work where necessary.

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a carpenter with at least 2 years of experience in the field
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation & construction
• Ability to read technical documents & drawings
• Experience in operating machinery & tools (e.g., saws)
• Excellent physical condition and strength with the ability to work long hours standing up • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
