Job Description:
The primary role of the Civil Engineer is to plan, design and oversee the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels and buildings. This includes planning the layout of the project using computer-aided design technology (CAD) systems as well as conducting surveys to determine soil composition and other conditions onsite. The Civil Engineer will also be responsible for making sure that all materials used meet quality standards set by local regulations and international standards. Additionally, they may be responsible for managing subcontractors during construction phases, ensuring that all safety regulations are followed appropriately during the project's duration.
