We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah. As part of the Civil Engineering team, this candidate will be responsible for developing, designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities in both residential and commercial settings. The successful applicant will also be involved in the development and implementation of engineering projects from conceptual design to completion. This position provides a salary of 1000 per month, with the potential for further benefits for an immigrant applicant.
The primary duties of a Civil Engineer include surveying sites, understanding blueprints and drawings, assessing site conditions and formulating plans with other engineers. This position requires excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking skills as well as strong problem solving abilities. The successful candidate must have an understanding of contemporary civil engineering standards and regulations as well as an ability to communicate effectively with clients.
In order to qualify for this position, applicants must have a degree in Civil Engineering or related field and relevant experience in the field or training programs recognized by industry bodies such as ASCE or ICE. Professional certification is preferred but not required. Additionally, it is beneficial if applicants possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or other CAD systems.
The successful candidate will be expected to take on the following responsibilities: conducting research into current civil engineering methods; preparing reports; observing safety regulations; identifying system deficiencies; preparing project estimates; managing projects from conception to completion; ensuring that projects meet legal requirements; directing construction personnel on site; ensuring project completion within schedule and budget constraints; monitoring work progress at regular intervals; evaluating project performance at post-completion stage; maintaining records of work progress/materials used/any changes made etc.; participating in meetings with clients/contractors/stakeholders etc.; working closely with architects/other engineers etc.; ensuring quality control throughout all stages of construction; providing technical advice on all aspects of civil engineering projects etc..
