Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Sharjah. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examining eyes, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses. You will also be in charge of conducting vision tests and educating patients on the importance of eye health. The position offers a salary of 1100 AED per month. We are open to hiring immigrants with the necessary qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose vision problems by examining patients’ eyes using specialized instruments
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patient needs
• Conduct vision tests to assess visual acuity
• Educate patients on the importance of regular eye examinations
• Develop treatment plans for eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration
• Monitor the progress of existing treatments for eye diseases
• Ensure that all equipment used is adequately maintained and calibrated
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatment plans

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or a related field is required
• Proven working experience as an Optometrist is preferred
• Ability to recognize, diagnose, and treat ocular disorders accurately
• Knowledgeable in current optometric technology and techniques
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
